Council and Staff in front of the Disability Policy Seminar backdrop

Disability Policy Seminar

In April, two Council members and three of the Council staff attended the Disability Policy Seminar in Washington, DC, where they learned about political advocacy and how to help others advocate for change. After the seminar, they visited with representatives from the offices of Senator Romney, Senator Lee, Representative Curtis, and Representative Stewart. We are grateful for the opportunity to advocate for disability issues with lawmakers.
