The ADA at 30: History and Impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act

In 1990, President George H.W. Bush signed into the law the new Americans with Disabilities Act. This act had a profound impact on Americans who needed better accessibility. The Council is gathering stories, experiences, changes, and other thoughts about the history of the ADA to share in a Council publication.
