The Utah Developmental Disabilities Council is excited to announce the 2024 "Building Together" Advocacy and Self-Determination Conference. 

June 10-11, 2024 | Midvale, UT

UDDC is seeking presenters, exhibitors, and microenterprises. The deadline to apply is April 19, 2024. Learn more in the descriptions below.

Presenter
​Do you want to share your knowledge and expertise to improve self-determined practices? Submit a proposal to present during a breakout session! Presentation proposals should focus on the application of methods and strategies. Attendees should be able to gain information and use it in their work and lives. It should emphasize information to strengthen the quality of services for people with disabilities.

Exhibitor
Calling all Utah organizations that support self-determination and self-directed support. Display as an Exhibitor! Only applications from exhibitors that directly support self-determination and self-direction in Utah will be accepted. All applications will be reviewed by a committee and selected based on ​​​the needs, variety​, and mission of the conference. We are particularly interested in having exhibitors with innovative approaches to services and support for self- direction including those focused on rural communities, employment, and the use of technology to help people with disabilities live full and inclusive lives. There is no fee to host an exhibitor booth, but exhibitors must register for the conference if selected. 

Microenterprise
Calling all Micro business owners and artists!​ We are excited to add the Marketplace to this year’s event! Micro businesses run and created by people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Artists with disabilities can sell their products and/or services.​ There is no fee to host a microenterprise booth at the marketplace, but everyone selected must register for the conference.
